Build Manager Takes on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Lindsey Lodge Hospice
Build Manager is proud to announce that on Saturday 25th April our team will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice Limited, a charity that provides essential care to adults across North Lincolnshire.
The challenge is no small feat. Covering 24 miles through the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the route includes summiting Whernside, Ingleborough, and Pen-y-Ghent, with a total ascent of 5,200ft. Our goal is to complete the entire challenge in under 12 hours.
Why We’re Taking on the Challenge
Lindsey Lodge Hospice, based in Scunthorpe, provides specialist care for people with illnesses that are no longer curable. Their focus is on improving quality of life through compassionate, holistic, and individually tailored support.
Their services include:
- Specialist inpatient care
- Symptom control and pain management
- End-of-life care
- Day care and short-term respite care
- Social and emotional support
All of this care is provided free of charge, meaning Lindsey Lodge relies heavily on fundraising and community support to continue their incredible work.
This cause is particularly close to our hearts, which is why we’ve chosen to raise funds through this demanding physical challenge.
