Challenges:

Developer-led delays to start date due to planning, Covid-19 pandemic, Material supply shortages and significant price rises, long lead ins for materials, labour shortages due to huge house price rises and busy construction sector increased labour rates.

Main Success:

Despite the challenges we maintained original budget by managing costs closely and accurately, doing more work ourselves then originally planned, value engineering elements (cheaper alternatives such as roof tiles, bricks, floor tiles, electrical equipment, stairs materials) and getting multiple quotes for works packages.
